I help people improve their posture to get out of pain and, of course to look good.
I also give posture trainings sessions in schools, offices and private settings.
To tell you the truth, I had some hesitations in ‘coming out’ as a posture teacher/expert until a friend of mine who I was helping with her back problems asked me with frustration and a level of despair:
and the rest is history.
For most of us the teachings of good posture wasn’t (and still isn’t) part of our education.
As a result you may have developed poor postural habits along the way.
Good posture is a skill we all can learn.
And because we haven’t been taught these life skills it is up to us to learn and pass them to our children.
I believe that living intelligently is to empower ourselves with knowledge.
SIT UP STRAIGHT
DON’T SLOUCH
Did any of these ever help you? Let me guess, no it didn’t!
That is because THIS. TEACHES. NOTHING.
Let’s teach, not instruct.
The spinal cord and the brain form the central nervous system (CNS). The CNS is like the control room of our body, everything happens from here, from what we do to what we think and feel.
Poor posture deforms and damages the spine and this will have an affect on the CNS.
Poor posture:
Our bodies change our minds, our minds change our behaviour, our behaviour changes our outcomes.
Good posture contributes to:
To bring the knowledge of good posture to teachers and parents so that they can introduce posture education to children from an early age.
Like so, children are given the chance to grow up with the understanding and awareness of good posture, maintain a healthy spine and avoid the suffering that many adults go through due to the lack of awareness and understanding of good posture.
Just like teaching children to brush their teeth from an early age, I believe posture education is as essential to prevent back problems and mental issues.
