What does it mean for your child if s/he grows up with the awareness and understanding of good posture?
Are you suffering from aches and pains, not sure how to hold yourself? Find it difficult to find a comfortable position when you sit at your desk or when you stand? Don’t feel your best?
If I would tell you that your posture may be the main cause for it, how would you want your children to know about it so that they don’t need to go through the same struggle?
Let’s look at a simple comparison: brushing the teeth is a common routine at your home. You teach and remind your child to do it every day for many years even more than once a day and you started early enough, right? Why do you do that? Well, yes, it is obvious why: you don’t wish for them to have bad teeth letting alone seeing them suffering from tooth pain due to the lack of caring for them. Not to mention the expensive dentist visits!
Also, you do that consistently for many years and you know that one day you won’t have to do it any more. ‘The seed has been planted’ and you did your very best to give that little seed the best possible start. There is no difference when it comes to the health of the spine.
