This week I’m bringing to you a delicious (short) exercise to help you relieve tension around the neck, shoulders, and back.
If you have (or know of someone) issues related to repetitive stress injury in the upper body this may help.
You can do this exercise at home or in the office (please share it with your colleagues).
As you do this exercise find ways to make it smooth, fluid and enjoyable – you do that by going slowly and moving with the breath.
Allow your body to explore the movements, be present in yourself, feel and sense.
Do let me know how you get on with this one, leave me a comment below the video.
I look forward to hearing from you.
We do a lot of leaning over every single day (to brush our teeth, wash our hands, make a cup of tea and so on) and when done badly (most people do) it will, in the long run, cause a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on the spine. If you want to understand and learn how lean over correctly, with elegance and to prevent back issues including a hunched back then please have a look at my online course here.
