What position do you sleep in?
Do you sleep on your side, back or tummy?
Should we sleep with pillows or without?
Why is this important?
Because this is something we do every single day and we want to take good care of our back to keep it healthy for a long time.
But if we don’t pay attention to what we do with our back as we go about life then we can create unnecessary strain to the spine that could one day can turn into discomfort or pain – so let’s pay attention.
Your back can be safe in whatever position you like best as long as the spine is in a neutral position but it isn’t easy to explain what a neutral spine is.
We cannot say it’s a ‘straight’ spine because the spine isn’t straight (it has 3 curves) but I hope you can understand what I mean in my video.
