On this side of the hemisphere the cold days are settling in.
That means, our feet will spend a lot of time in shoes and socks.
It is therefore essential that we exercise our feet and give them some love on a regular basis.
After all, if they aren’t happy (stiff and not so healthy) that will affect everything above them because the feet are the foundations of the body.
Hallux valgus (bunions) is a common foot ailment, mainly in women.
It is an inflammation of the joint of the big toe and it can be very uncomfortable.
It seems it runs in the family.
But you can make it better and prevent it from getting worse by doing a few things regularly.
Here are the 3 essential things you need know and do:
1. The shoes you wear will either make it better or worse – choose wisely what you wear on a daily basis. The larger and flatter the shoes are the better.
2. You must free your feet at home from the stresses of the day (no shoes or tight socks, bare foot is best) – please be sure you know what slippers to keep away from and which ones to wear.
3. Give your feet some love on a regular basis – exercise your feet and toes.
You can do that while watching TV!
