Have you ever thougtht about the way you breathe?
Breathing happens naturally and we tend to take it for granted.
But we shouldn’t!
Most people have shallow breathing and don’t use the full capacity of their lungs.
But what does it mean to have shallow breathing?
Well, we breathe because the body needs oxygen to function and when our breathing is shallow that means that we are starving the body of oxygen. At the same time, we aren’t helping our body to release toxins that are released through exhalation.
This can lead to all sorts of health issues, physically and mentally.
So, this week I want to inspire and encourage you to take some time to improve your breathing.
And for that I have a breathing exercise for you from the Feldenkrais method – video a the bottom.
This week you have part 1 and next week you will have part 2.
However, if you want this breathing exercise in one take/video then please click here to get it.
As ever, I would love to hear from you, leave me a comment on the comments area below.
